Fire Apparatus & Equipment

The Department maintains a fleet of specialized fire apparatus including a 4 wheel drive Brush Fire Patrol Unit, a Quick Attack Squad Unit (250 GPM Pumper), an Engine (1500 GPM Pumper), a 55 Ft. Ladder Truck (1500 GPM Pumper), and several Command/Utility Vehicles.

Equipment includes the “Jaws of Life” Hydraulic Rescue tool used to free accident victims, Ropes and Rescue Equipment, A Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) which allows firefighters to “see through smoke”, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, air monitors, an assortment of fire hose, nozzles, ladders, smoke removal fans, generators, lights, power saws, and hand tools. Each vehicle also carries life saving oxygen, medical gear and Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) for victims of cardiac arrest.
