About the Department
The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining a fiscally sound organization that conforms to legal requirements and to generally accepted financial management principles. It accomplishes this by planning, directing, monitoring, and reporting the city’s financial resources to the City Council, City Manager, and the public.
It serves all the departments within the city and the public in all financial matters including administrative functions, financial operations, accounting, and treasury management.
