Mission Statement
The mission of the Building Division is:
  • To promote the general health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Farmersville
  • To work towards elimination blight in neighborhoods
  • To work with developers and contractors in achieving the City's planning goals
  • To work with other City departments for a coordinated effort
Achieving Goals
We strive to achieve these goals and contribute to the overall mission of the City by:
  • Administration and compliance of the City of Farmersville Ordinances as they relate to building and properties located in the City of Farmersville
  • Administration and compliance of the codes and standards adopted from the California Building Code
  • Administration and compliance with improvement plans and adopted standards and specifications as they relate to subdivision inspection of public improvements
  • Ensure that those individuals and companies that do business in the city meet the regulatory standards set forth in state statutes and local ordinances for the business occupation in which they are operating
  • Provide information to the public and to assist them in understanding and the application of the adopted codes and ordinances
