Fireworks Permit

  2. (Permission from Fire Department is required prior to actual storage of fireworks.)

  3. This application shall serve as a permit to sell fireworks in the City of Farmersville, between the dates of June 28 and July 4, once all of the following provisions have been met pursuant to Chapter 8.12 of the City of Farmersville Municipal Codes.

    Prior to validation of this permit, the applicant must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the City of Farmersville as Additional Insured. Applicants must pay to the City of Farmersville a $50 cleaning deposit (refundable) as well as pay to the City of Farmersville a $50 permit fee (non-refundable).

    The applicant must obtain a State License issued by the California Fire Marshall to sell fireworks in the State of California and have the City of Farmersville Fire Department complete a fireworks stand inspection from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.

    Applicants are urged to contact the Fire Captain as early as possible to schedule an inspection. Remember to have the name of the organization properly displayed on the front of the stand.

  4. Final inspections must be completed by 5 p.m. on June 26, no exceptions.
