Fire Apparatus & Equipment

The Department maintains a fleet of specialized fire apparatus including

  •  4 wheel drive Brush Fire Patrol Unit, 
  •  Quick Attack Squad Unit (250 GPM Pumper)
  •  Engine (1500 GPM Pumper)
  •  Several Command/Utility Vehicles.

Equipment includes

  • “Jaws of Life” Hydraulic Rescue tool used to free accident victims.
  •  Ropes and Rescue Equipment
  • A Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) which allows firefighters to “see through smoke”
  • Self Contained Breathing Apparatus 
  • Air monitors 
  • An assortment of fire hose, nozzles, ladders
  •  Smoke removal fans
  • Generators
  • Lights, power saws, and hand tools. 

Each vehicle also carries

  •  Life saving oxygen
  • Medical gear 
  •  Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) for victims of cardiac arrest.
