I am honored and proud to serve as the 11th Police Chief of the Farmersville Police Department. It is my privilege to lead the extraordinary men and women of the Farmersville Police Department. Our department has proudly served our community since 1960. My highest priority is to maintain a strong partnership with the community and ensure the highest level of service, safety, and professionalism. As your chief of police, I am committed to building and maintaining public trust while partnering with the community to make Farmersville a safe place to live.
The department uses innovative approaches and technologies to reduce crime in our community so we can keep our neighborhoods, schools, and streets safe. We operate on a community oriented policing philosophy that dates to the 1970’s as well as a problem-oriented policing model that not only addresses crime, but other social, and quality of life issues.
The job of a police officer is very difficult, especially in these ever-changing times. Police officers need the support of their community to be successful and to accomplish their mission. Communication is the foundation of building public trust. The Farmersville Police Department will always strive to be open, transparent, and work together with the community to ensure our citizens are heard and valued.
We value our partnerships with the business community, our school district, and our city officials. It takes involvement from everyone in our community to create a safer place to live, work and play. On behalf of the Farmersville Police Department, it is our honor to serve you.
