Occurred: 900 Block of West Ponderosa, Farmersville, CA.

Suspect: Alexander Jude Shinn (DOB: 8-29-93) Resident of Farmersville
On December 8, 2018 at about 1500 hours officers were dispatched to the 900 block of west Ponderosa regarding a report of a possible kidnapping. When officers arrived at the location they found no one home. A few minutes later Alexander Jude Shinn arrived. Shinn disclosed to officers that he assaulted his roommate in the early morning hours and believed that he may have killed him. Shinn was detained by officers and investigators were called to the scene.
Through further investigation it is believed that a body located earlier Saturday by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department in the rural Strathmore area was connected to this case and was in fact the victim (an adult Hispanic male).
After lengthy investigation Shinn was booked at the Tulare County Sheriff Pretrial Facility on charges of Homicide.
