Suspect:                     Mundi, Harbhajan Singh

 

DOB:                           05/02/1957


 

On 07/24/2018 at approximately 1:05 PM Officers of the Farmersville Police Department were dispatched to the Aztec Liquor at 686 E. Visalia Rd. in the City of Farmersville for a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival officers located two victims of gunshot wounds in the store and also located and detained the apparent suspect and store owner Harbhajan Singh Mundi. Officers also located and secured a 38-caliber revolver that was believed to have been used in the shooting.


Early information indicates that the shooting was preceded by an ongoing dispute between the property owner and the business owner Harbhajan Mundi. The property owner and several other subjects were at the store to meet with Mundi to discuss the property and business.


The primary victim had gunshot wounds to his body and was in serious condition. The secondary victim, an adult male, had a gunshot wound to his foot. Both were transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.


The suspect, Mundi, also sustained an apparent accidental gunshot wound to his foot and was also being treated for his injuries.
