On May 31, 2020 at about 2121 hours officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of north June regarding possible shots heard in the area. When officers arrived at the location, they found a male juvenile lying in the front yard of a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel arrived moments later and determined that the juvenile was deceased. The motive for the shooting is not known at this time. Witnesses reported seeing two subjects running south on June at about the time the shots were heard.
